Meet Greg

Greg Clark has spent his entire professional career as an educator. Teacher, Athletic Director, high school Principal and District Superintendent, Greg has served in almost ten educational roles. He has also been a part-time professor and guest lecturer at the University of Pacific and the Teachers College of San Joaquin.

For his work in education, Greg has been recognized with the California Interscholastic Federation Lifetime Achievement Award and as the 2015 Association of California School Administrators Region 7 Retired Administrator of the Year.

In 2018, Greg was elected to the County Board of Education. He has been a staunch advocate for teachers, students, and parents, ensuring they have a voice while creating new and better educational opportunities for our students.

A 56-year resident of Lodi, Greg has been an active part of the community. He has served the Lodi youth sports community as a coach and director of summer camps. He is also a proud U.S. Army veteran.

Greg's favorite fellow educator is his wife of 51 years, Joanne. Together, they have raised three wonderful children.
